Proclamation Ceremony

The annual Proclamation Celebration is held every year during the month of October at the Wolfert's Roost in Loudonville, NY.  This year's Proclamation Ceremony will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008 from 6:00 until 9:00 pm.

Each year, we get together to hear one of our local leaders, often a state congressman or senator, proclaim October to be National Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

This celebration features great food, inspiring speakers, silent and live auctions, music and conversation at the beautiful Wolfert's Roost Country Club.  It is also an opportunity to recognize the Aim High Award winners, as well as to congratulate the Aim High Scholarship winners.

It is a fun, heartwarming evening and a great event not to be missed!

Invitations are be sent out in early September.  If you would like to be included on the mailing list, please contact the DSAHRC office at (518) 438-1113 or email
