The Sunshine Fund was established several years ago to provide a gift of treats to our children (any age) when they are hospitalized. 

If you know of a family that is interested in receiving this service, simply call Terry Van Evera at (518) 370-1712 and provide the following information:

• Name and age of recipient
• Nature of the hospitalization
• Name and phone number of parent(s) or guardian(s)
• Home address of recipient

It is also helpful if you have knowledge of any special wish items or areas of interest the hospitalized person has, as we try to individualize each Sunshine package.  We have found that most people prefer receiving the surprise box after returning home where they can open the box and enjoy the contents at their leisure.  Hopefully, this brings to each person some smiles and fun during recuperation.  Please do not hesitate to call when this fund can be of service to you or someone you know!

We also mail out Birthday Cards and currently have approximately 200 individuals who receive cards each year.  We are always happy to add to this list at any time.  If you know someone who would like to receive a card, please call Terry Van Evera at (518) 370-1712 and ask to be added to the list.  We will be happy to send them Birthday Wishes for their special day!
