The Events Committee will organize events such as the Buddy Walk, Proclamation Ceremony, Family Picnics, Family Dances, Sporting and Social Events.

Examples of how YOU can get involved with the Events Committee:

• Planning for the Buddy Walk
• Help with preparations for Proclamation Ceremony
• Planning for Summer Picnic
• Planning with other social and sporting events
• Help plan events such as Moms of Teen, 'Tween, & Adult Daughters with Down syndrome, and Dads & Sons
• Start a Playgroup in your area
• Plan a new event, such as a Wine Tasting
• Assist with mailing and labeling
• Make phone calls to families to encourage participation in events
