The Network of Choice and Opportunity (NCO) presents Families Taking Care and Taking Charge:  Driving Services and Supports for People with Developmental Disabilities on Friday, September 26th from 8:15 am until 3:00 pm at the Holiday Inn Turf on Wolf Road in Albany.

Parents and professionals will present:

• Strategies for coping with family/caregiver stress
• Life planning and getting informed, empowered and connected
• Out of the box thinking and life planning
• Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans for students with disabilities
• Positive Behavioral Supports at home and at school
• Reimbursement, Recreation, Family Support and Agency Intake Vendor Fair
• Keynote Address by Ed Solomon, Parent and Past Director of the DDSO

• Living Resources
• Wildwood Programs
• Rensselaer County Chapter of NYSARC

Cost of the conference:  $50 for Professionals
                                    $25 for Family Members.  Limited scholarships available
